John 13:7 "You do not realize now what I am doing, but someday you will"
Sometimes in life we don't understand why some things have happened or why they are happening. We could not understand why bad things happen to us and then why good things happen to us because we feel as though we do not deserve it. Sometimes it's best to not always understand everything that happens in this life because if we understood everything we wouldn't seek God all the time. God said in Jeremiah 33:3 "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." When we call out to Him, He will be faithful and hear you. When you seek God and spend time with Him He will show and teach you amazing things that you do not know. God knows everything from the start to the beginning. There is always something new with God every single day. At times in my life I know I have asked God "Why is this happening to me?" and I know you have asked that very same question. But to be honest sometimes with the things we go through or went through there is always a reason why. We also have to remember that Jesus went through the worst having friends that he really trusted betray him and dying on the cross for our sins when He didn't deserve that. Jesus even asked God "Why have you forsaken me?"
Maybe God had you go through something that was really hard but God sent it your way so that that very situation could make you stronger. I know some people don't understand that saying. Sometimes God sends us trials and tribulations for us to go through to make us stronger. But just imagine that once you get through that trial at the end if you have pushed yourself and gotten through it you can finally say "I made it".I made it through all the pain and suffering that not everyone knew I was going through but because I have God by my side NOTHING is impossible with Him". I'll tell you it is an amazing feeling especially when you can look in the past of what you went through and you just know that God was with you in that very moment. I talked to someone one time not understanding why I was going through this one thing and they said "Maybe God was keeping you from something" And that really made me think. Maybe some of the things that we have missed out on in life and God was protecting from something that maybe wasn't supposed to happen.
Here's the great thing though. James 1:12 says "Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love Him" That should be very encouraging to you. Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial. No matter what you are going through keep pushing yourself. T
he devil will try and stop you in every way that he can because he knows the great things God has in store for you and would love it much better if you stood back and told yourself "I can't do it". But guess what? God knows you can do it. God created you to be strong, to be a warrior.
