I think through out life we all tend to get stressed out by all the things that are going on in life. We try to find ways to reduce any stress that we might have from work, things with family, friends, school, what you want to do etc. With all these things going on in life, it can get stressful. That's why it's also important to find ways to relieve your stress level. Because living a stressed life can be dangerous. When you are God's child we don't have an excuse to be stressed. Because God gives us peace in our lives instead of stress. For God's peace is not of this world "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid" John 14:27 This verse alone says a lot about how you should feel through out your lives not stressed. Some of the things I like to do to relieve stress is
1.I love to take long walks because that relaxes me
2.Do workouts that relaxes muscles
3.Hanging out with dogs really help
4.Use essential oil (Preferably lavender helps me a ton) and put it on your wrist so you can smell it
5.Talk to a trusted friend about what you're frustrated about
6.Read God's word until you feel better
There are a lot more things I like to do that relaxes me but here I listed just a few. One of the other big ones I will share is spending time outside, like in nature. Being in God's creation and just feeling the breeze on your face or feeling the warmth from the sun always feels so good. It's important to do stuff for you that relaxes you through out your day so that you don't completely get overwhelmed. Because some of us tend to get overwhelmed or frustrated with the things that go on in our lives. OR some of us deal with anxiety every single day in our lives and this can help with your anxiety as well. So don't let the things of this world get you stressed out or frustrated. God has freely given to us a peace that surpasses understanding if we just will receive it and walk through everyday being stress free. and walk in God's peace. Take some time to do some things for yourself with your busy schedule and relax.
