Rejoicing In My Disability

I can rejoice even with having my disability because even with having my disability I know that God loves me and accepts me for who I am

I can rejoice in my disability because... "I am fearfully and wonderfully made" Psalm 139:14

I can rejoice in my disability because all my fears about being different and not being able to do stuff has been drowned in God's perfect love "

"There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." 1 John 4:18

I can rejoice in my disability because God meets all my needs

"And this is the same and who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches which have been given to you in Christ Jesus our Lord" Philippians 4:19

I can rejoice in my disability because suffering prodocues perseverance

"And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

and patience, experience; and experience, hope:" Romans 5:3-5

I can rejoice in my disability because God sees me as a conqueror

"Now in all these things we are more than conquerors through Christ who loved us" Romans 8:37

Though sometimes my trials with my disability can be very hard my suffering isn't for nothing because the Bible says...

"Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him." James 1:12

I can rejoice in my disability because... even though there are some things I can't do my future is in the hands of an all knowing and loving God

"For I know the plans I have for you; "declares the LORD" plan to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11

I can rejoice in my disability because... God rejoices over me with singing.

"The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17

My life is hidden in Christ and my identity is found in God and not my disability

"For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God." Colossians 3:3

I am God's masterpiece "For we are God’s masterpiece, created to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:20
