Embracing Each Season

Since it's in the middle of October the trees have changed colors and the weather has gotten chiller enough to wear those cute and cozy sweaters and the fall seasonal drinks to come out like the popular Pumpkin spice latte and hot apple cider. Fall has always been one of my favorite seasons and I think it always will be because of the perfect sweater weather and the beautiful leaves with all the pumpkins on everyone's front porch and Halloween decorations. Even today I'm totally in the fall mood I decided to wear one of my new cozy fall sweater and I went to a coffee shop and got a pumpkin spice latte and even a pumpkin spice rice kirspy that was delicious. Because Michigan has 4 seasons I love each one of them because each season is unique and special in it's own way and each season has a purpose of it's own. It's the same thing for actual seasons in our life. When we choose to embrace each season of life that God gives us the good, the bad, and the ugly we will reap a good harvest if we choose to not give up.

"For everything there is a season, and a time manner for everything under the sun

A time to be born, and a time to die, a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted.

A time to kill, and a time to heal, a time to break down, a time to build up, a time to weep

and a time to laugh, a time to mourn, and a time to dance, a time to cast away stones, and a

time to gather stones, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing" Ecclesiastes 3:1-22

What I want to do this year is to embrace every season and everything that God gives me this year. Whether its a good season of my life or bad. Because I know that whatever happens in my life God's got everything under control and there's a purpose for ever season in our lives. When we have a season in our life that is good it is easy to be happy and to praise God about the good things happening in our lives but when it comes to the bad things in our lives it's easier to get frustrated with God or question why some things are happening in our lives at that moment. So whether in our good or bad seasons in our lives lets chose to praise God in every season and chose embrace everything life throws at us because we will never have that time in our lives again. For example, I just recently got a job and I've been waiting so long to finally have a job again. I wanted so badly to have my dream job to work at a coffee shop and praise God I got the job! So in these types of moments it's easiest to praise God because things are going good. Another example is when my dog Cooper was having seizures it was easy to become worried and frustrated and ask God "Why are you allowing this to happen?". In those times it's not easy to find the strength to praise God through a storm but it's not impossible either. Because....
