We May Bend, But We Won't Break

It seems like every year changes. seasons change, people change, new doors open, new opportunities. Maybe you're going to a new school, or got a new job. All these things can be good but can also bring on anxiety too. I know it does for me. Nothing stays the same as much as we'd like it too and we can't stay in our comfort zone forever. Sometimes with all the opportunities that come are way can either be exciting or can give us lots of anxiety. It's always an in between for me. For I deal with anxiety in almost every situation in all the things I do. Like working, going out with friends, writing, meeting new people, going to new unfamiliar places etc. Or even doing things to step out of my comfort zone. All these things that life brings us can sometimes seem like it can be overwhelming or never ending or even can seem like it's too much. Maybe you feel like you won't be able to do whatever comes your way, Or you may feel like you are not strong enough. I think we all feel tend to feel that way at some points in our lives.

I love this quote up above that says...

"I won't give you more,

More then you can take,

And I might let you bend,

But I won't let you break."

What God is saying in that quote gives me relief that He wont give us more then we can take and that He won't let us break still doesn't mean that things won't get hard or that whatever comes our way won't give us anxiety or fear. But the good news is that we can find comfort in remembering God's promise of Him never leaving us nor forsaking us. For God will be with us in everything that we do and will give us strength for the journey. Another thing that we can try and remember when we are in a situation where we feel like we can't take it is to remember who we are in Christ that we are sons and daughters of the one true king. We are dearly loved and that...

"And we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose" Romans 8:28

There might be some things in our life that happen that might seem like its too much or overwhelming but God will never give us more then we can bear.
