There's a time to be around the things you are comfortable with, and then there's a time when God brings you out into the unknown and brings a change into your life. You might feel ready, but you might also be scared and anxious about it. But if you're feeling more excited then nervous about a new change in your life that's when you know you are ready.
For example, this is what's going on in my life right now. New doors are opening in my life real soon. In a few weeks I am moving out of my parents house. Out of the place and with the people I've been living with all of my life. I will be moving to a new place with new roommates that I don't know. I met one of my roommates already and she is great but have yet to meet the others when they move in. God opened this opportunity for me about a month ago or two and I was in love with the idea as well as scared and nervous for a change.
"I want to share with you some lyrics to a Christian song that is really good most of you should know it...
You call me out upon the waters The great unknown where feet may fail And there I find You in the mystery In oceans deep My faith will stand
And I will call upon Your name And keep my eyes above the waves When oceans rise, my soul will rest in Your embrace For I am Yours and You are mine"
then....
"Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders Let me walk upon the waters Wherever You would call me Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander And my faith will be made stronger In the presence of my Savior"
When we step out into unknown places where we are not sure what's going to happen or what the new places and new opportunities will be like remember this song. We should keep our eyes fixed on Jesus when we step out into the unknown places He takes us and let His spirit guide us and make our faith stronger in Him. We may be scared for new adventures at times but if we always stay where we are comfortable and not try all that God and life has to offer we will miss out. I want to have many adventures in my life and check out new places have experiences of living on my own and seeing what it's like living with roomates. Being with the guy I really want to be with and travel places and get my book out and see where that takes me.I'm up for all adventures. But, even though I have anxiety it does stop me sometimes but I can't let it get in the way of my life. For we only live once.
“I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.”– Eric Roth
