Becoming Who You Want To Be Is Not Impossible, But Takes Time. You Can Do It!

We have all our life to learn what kind of person we want to be. We have role-models in our lives and can choose who we want to be like. Or if we want to be our own person, obviously. I am 24 and am still not totally the person I want to be. I have a lot of learning to do still. And the thing is, I am at the stage in my life where I am hating asking people for help and just wanting to do my own thing and do life my own way. I tend to get frustrated for some reason when people try to help me like if it's helping me with money, or cooking or cleaning. I just want to do these things on my own,. Although, I know we all need help one way or another and we should let people help us. But it's good to have motivation to do things on our own too.

This is an example of the kind of person I want to be..

I want to be the kind of person everyone is comfortable being around, and being a friend to everyone. I want to cheer up by giving compliments. (i give people lots of compliments haha)

I have always wanted to be the type of women who has strong faith and is dedicated to God in her work and to be an encourager and to be pure in heart. I want to be a women who is independent and can do things on her own while living on my own, and learn the ways of life myself and with God.

Honestly, right now I am far from being that women who is dedicated to God and putting all my work towards God. I have fallen into the world and feel I am becoming more like the world then who God wants me to be at times. But we are human and we all fall short of God's glory.

"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23

But it is true that we are never too old or too young to get ourselves back together and make our relationship with God more important then worldly things. It is hard because it is so easy to get tempted into wordily stuff. Like Netflix, worldly books, worldly events, acting like everyone else etc.

Becoming who you really desire to be is not impossible. But it will take work, dedication to your time, getting the courage to ask others for help even when you don't need it, believing in yourself that you can do it. Everyday is one step closer to becoming the person that you want to be. Not only do I or others around you believe you can become the person you want to be but God believes in you too!
